Mr. Bishop graduated from Cardiff University in 1981 and later started his specialist training in Kings College Dental Hospital in 1991. Mr. Bishop completed his specialist training and was registered as a specialist in restorative dentistry, endodontics, periodontics and prosthetics in 1997. In the same year as registering as a Specialist, Mr. Bishop was appointed a Consultant post at Morriston Hospital.

In 2015, Mr. Bishop started running his Specialist private clinic here at Eastside.

In any spare time, Mr. Bishop enjoys going to the gym, hiking, holidays, and walking with his lovely dog.
